Nannette is the Chief Communications Officer for the Clerk & Comptroller, Palm Beach County, Florida, overseeing and implementing the internal and external communications strategy for the office.
Prior to her current position, she was the Communications Director for the City of Miami Beach, Florida, from 1995 - 2016. Miami Beach received several national, state and local awards under her leadership recognizing the City’s marketing and communication efforts – from video productions and branding to publishing and special events.
In her early career, Nannette was Senior Publicist for WPBT/Channel 2 coordinating local and national publicity and advertising campaigns for the public television station and its programming. She is most noted for her co-creation of KidVision, which was recognized and emulated nationally.
She has been an active member of 3CMA since 1998 and is currently on the board of directors. She is a member of Public Relations Society of America and Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers’ communications group. She has also served as president of the Florida Government Communicators Association.
She graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and marketing.
