"Wow!
That is the only way to describe this year's 3CMA Annual Conference.
The location was unbelievable, the topics fantastic (I've got so many
new ideas that I am making a to-do list so I don't forget anything!),
the presenters were so professional, yet friendly. I met so many
people and made lasting (I hope) contacts! Our City won a Savvy,
and I even got engaged in the parking lot!!!! All in all, it was
the best conference I have ever attended! Thanks! How can
you possibly top this?" |

"Like many
municipalities, Scottsdale's membership/training budget has been
significantly trimmed - which means that public information staff
either have to forego membership or personally pay to participate.
When it comes to making those kinds of choices, you think long and
hard about which organizations have the most to offer and which ones
provide the most relevant resources in meeting current workday
issues/challenges. 3CMA comes out on top in every consideration
- because it provides access to the successes and service improvements
achieved by other municipal employees - which enables members to learn
from the best and ideally to not have to recreate the wheel when
initiating a new program. The 3CMA awards program is a great
example - while the program provides recognition - it is far more
valuable for the shared resources that result from the entries.
So access to the awards CD (Guidebook) is a significant benefit for
those of us who are seeking creative ways to do more with less and to
network with other government-related employees. |

PS - I think
the other thing I really appreciate about 3CMA is I don't just feel
like just another number - The staff sends me e-mails or
picks up the phone - you don't frequently find that kind of interface
in networking organizations; just reassures me that 3CMA is truly a
notch above the rest." |

"I believe
very strongly in 3CMA and the organization's ability to help each of
us excel at what we do. In preparation for Board of Directors service, I read
the long-range plan and was very excited about many of the prospects
mentioned there. I'm here to help and do what I can." |

"Congratulations - and thanks - for the awesome conference last week. I heard such positive comments about it. Every
session that I attended was worthwhile, and the venue was one of the
best. Let's do it again!" |

"Thanks for
your immediate attention. Since Hurricane Charley it has been
difficult. The pressure is intense. Coupled with the
directive to trim budgets and staff over the next year (as a temporary
measure) in response to possible financial concerns, working in
Charlotte County is a real challenge. As always, the support of
the 3CMA staff and the 3CMA membership has been great." |

"Thank you for
a "flawless" conference! I have had so many members come up to
me raving about the excellent presentations and how much
they've learned. 3CMA has not only fostered my career - it's
changed my life! And it's done that for lots of others." |
