 Atlanta’s 2019 Super Bowl provides the backdrop for a Super Session                                        game panel of successful collaborations among a wide range of agencies to provide best practices on how to forge relationships not just in emergencies and lessons learned when multiple cities, counties, and agencies pull together behind a single purpose.

 A focus on expanding community engagement and reaching those who are missing from the  table provides the backdrop for this interactive brainstorming session designed to spark creative energy and innovative ideas as we seek to provide a welcoming experience for all, especially as we prepare for the upcoming census. 
12:00 - 1:30 pm - How to Survive Crisis Island: A "Civic" Discussion about Technology, Communications and Survival
 here are more than 50 social media tools to help communicators deliver important messaging during crisis situations. But what if you could only choose one?  Based on the famed “Civic Dinner” platform, this interactive lunch session will spark exciting conversation about the best social media platform to leverage during a crisis.   
1:30 - 2:45 pm - Navigating Rocky Relationships: How to Position the Communications Department as a Vital Resource
 Are you struggling to build trust and support for communications efforts from elected officials and the senior management team? This two-part panel presentation will feature insights from public information officers and city administrators on how to position the communications department as a vital and credible source. The session will include tips on how to align communications actions around the mission, values and strategy of the organization while developing important relationships and earning a seat at the table.

3:00 - 4:15 pm - Navigating Rocky Relationships - Part 2
Interactive, facilitated conversation based on insights and ideas gleaned from the panel discussion. Be prepared to share “Help please” questions or “Best Practices” ideas.
