Jennifer oversees the communications and IT divisions for the City of Edina, which has a population of almost 50,000. She serves on the 3CMA Board of Directors and Savvy Awards Committee. Her team has won many awards, including their first Savvy in 2003 and most recent in 2016. She says the feedback she and her team receives from both submitting Savvy entries, as well as the ideas they can emulate from other agencies when they serve as judges, helps keep the City of Edina’s communications and marketing team on the cutting edge.
Michelle is a Strategic Partner with 3CMA, assisting with webinars, regional conferences and other projects that further the mission of the organization. She has 30 years experience in government communications, most recently as the Assistant to the City Manager and Communications Director for the City of Tallahassee (populations 180,000) for 19 years. She and her team have won numerous local and state awards, but their Savvy wins are the ones they treasure the most.
