3CMA - Communications and Outreach Coordinator - Job Posting

Introduction

We have a new position at the District and are looking for someone who is a team player, but also can take initiative and promote a positive image.  This position will help increase visibility of the District’s brand through communication strategies across multiple platforms including print, digital, web and social media.  Develop in-person public relations with the District’s board, internal, and external customers.  Develop and execute special events, and other related activities.  Implement communications plan including, but not limited to, news releases, brochures, newsletters, and other avenues highlighting the District’s accomplishments, operations, and mission.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License
  • Knowledge in a variety of social media platforms; Printer media preparation and desktop publishing software; Communication standards and concepts for marketing, branding, and advertising
