3CMA - Communications Specialist - Job Posting


Assists the Senior Communications Manager acting as media liaison and generating content for social media platforms (including photos, videos and infographics), and disseminating information to the community. Preference given to candidates who possess bilingual ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing in both English and Spanish.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in communications, public relations, journalism or other related field
Two (2) years' experience working in the news media and/or creating and maintaining content for social media platforms.

Job based competencies

  • Knowledge of current principles, practices and procedures of communication, news gathering and social media trends.
  • Knowledge of researching analytics for social media.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to distill complex information under strict deadlines and write in a clear, concise manner that conveys intended voice and tone.
