3CMA - Communications Manager (PR Specialist) - Job Posting

Introduction

Reporting to the City Manager, this position is an active member of the management team responsible for the marketing and communication strategy for the City and for the implementation of that strategy. The position acts as a spokesperson for the City through multiple media channels and will advise other officials who are speaking on behalf of the City. The successful applicant is expected to be involved in the community and establish and maintain effective relationships with community and civic associations, the business community, regional partners, the media, and others. The position is often called upon to create, implement, support and/or manage special events.
