Video Production Coordinator

Starting Salary: $20.21/hr.Closing Date: November 14, 2014

The City is seeking a Video Production Coordinator to work in the Communications and Marketing Division.  The Video Production Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating video operations/productions, internal/external videos, digital media, audio/visual events and related multi-media content. Must have the ability to work flexible hours with some evening and/or weekend work required.  Perform other related work as required.

Minimum Job Requirements


Education
Requires a college or technical degree in video production, communications or related field.

Experience
Requires three (3) years of related experience in video production.  Municipal experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
Must possess a valid driver’s license. (Must obtain State Class “C” driver’s license within 30 days of hire per state law).

Knowledge/Skills

Comprehensive understanding of video production (planning, videotaping, editing, distribution).

Basic skill in Adobe Creative Suite or comparable video, graphic, audio and other video production software.

Good understanding of social media platforms and tactics, uses, trends.

Skill in computer software applications including Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word).

Skill with graphic design computer programming. Use of video/still cameras, edit stations, Use of specialty video equipment: lighting, audio, Go Pro camera, studio sets, etc.  Municipal government operations is preferred.

Operation of video equipment, related accessories, lighting kits, audio equipment.  Skill in script writing, videography and video editing.  Good writing skills with comprehensive knowledge of grammar and syntax Audio.
